Facilities & Maintenance Manager
The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is responsible for all dealership buildings, grounds, and equipment. This person shall work independently under general supervision to fulfill responsibilities using specialized skills and knowledge. They will provide the first line of response to facility maintenance needs to assure maximum operational effectiveness of the facility. This position interacts with a wide variety of individuals including staff, contractors and vendors.
This position is supervised by the Controller.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as ordering or completing maintenance
- Oversees all daily housekeeping and cleaning
- Maintains and oversees all ordering of supplies related to general janitorial and maintenance
- Negotiate contracts with service providers and obtain multiple quotes for management approval
- Recommends use of outside maintenance specialty contractors as appropriate.
- Schedule inspections with outside vendors
- Inspect facilities to meet safety regulations and comply with city/state requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Verify when repairs needed are under warranty and submit claim
- Works with all other divisions and departments to meet the facility maintenance, installation and construction needs, as assigned.
- Monitors maintenance repair work, alterations and renovation upgrades to the facility, as assigned.
- Works with construction installation activities and processes to ensure the integrity of established facility standards, as requested.
- Maintains maintenance components, materials and supplies at an appropriate level within budgetary constraints.
- Attend KPA safety meetings or meetings of a safety nature and ensure all items discussed are resolved in a timely manner

MINIMUM Hiring Requirements
·High school graduate or equivalent.
·18 years or older
·Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence
·A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
·Clear pre-employment drug screen
